No Tricks…..Just Treats

Dawson’s dance class was allowed to dress up this week for dance. She has a skirt that is reversible and she can either be a good witch or bad witch from the movie “Oz”. She wanted to be the bad witch.

Today, Dawson’s class had a field trip to the Georgia Agrirama in Tifton to their pumpkin patch. I invited my mom to tag along.

Can you tell she likes her picture taken? 🙂

Her favorite part……the seesaw.

After the pumpkin patch, mom and I went to Southern Pickers to check on our booth. When we arrived, WALB (Albany news) had just been in our booth filming it for an upcoming commercial that will air November 1 – December 22. How cool!!

Later today, the college that I work at (ABAC) invited children to come trick or treating around campus. So, here is Deegan as Harry Potter and Dawson as Belle.

This is the big group of children who all came.

Nothing to report for today.

Today, I plan on spending the night in Valdosta with my parents. Mom and I are going yard saling in the morning. Brandon went shopping while waiting on me to arrive. He was able to buy us some fencing and a gate. So, we will be starting very shortly on getting our driveway blocked off from access to people who are used to using our driveway to get elsewhere. I met Brandon at Texas Roadhouse and ate with my parents.

Mom and I did well at yard saling. When we finished, we headed to Thomasville to get more things from the farm. Brandon and my dad met us there. Then, Brandon, the kids, and I headed home to unload everything and get ready to head to our friends’ house so the kids could trick or treat.

The kids were scared of this boy. They took forever to finally walk up to him to get candy.

Brandon and I woke up and started cleaning, rearranging, and decorating the house. The first thing I did was have Brandon hang a Merita Bread crate on the wall in the kitchen and then I started filling it with goodies that I received on my birthday from Kristi’s mom, Diane.

When Kristi and Kenny were in North Georgia, she went Antique shopping and sent me tons of pictures. I got her to buy me a scale for my kitchen. I LOVE scales!

I had Brandon hang some baskets around the Merita Bread crate. I just love it!

We deep cleaned the new table we just recently purchased.

Brandon stained the laundry room counters.

We had gotten two full/double beds from the farm. I was excited about that because I wanted Deegan to have two full/double beds in his room.

Before (I had started taking his bed down then remembered I needed to take a picture. :))

Brandon finished hanging the blinds on the 2nd floor of the house.

It felt like with the time change that we were able to get a lot done today. But, trust me, there’s so much more left to do!

Just bear with us! 🙂
